7th Annual Mother's Tea - May, 10 2008

This remarkable celebration is all about honoring the spirit and devotion of some very special Moms. Held in the grand ballroom of the Westin Tabor Center in downtown Denver, this year’s Mother’s Tea (sponsored with CPCO.org) will feature a champagne reception complete with grand pianist and complimentary

November 15th, 7pm. CCA participates in town hall meeting on patient safety. Meeting hosted by Rep. Morgan Carroll, Aurora Community College. All attendees received FREE CCA Patient Medical Journal!

Working with the Press Advocacy Training – Wednesday, July 18, 2007  

CCA will be hosing a healthcare consumer advocate training workshop for those interested in sharing their story or ideas on reform with the media.  The event will be hosted by a local NBC news producer.  To participate please email your RSVP to info@coloradocitizensforaccountability.org or call (303) 396-0366.  The event will be held at 7pm at our office, 899 Logan St. Downstairs – Denver , CO 80203 .

Patty Skolnik to Present at Grassroots Workshop, Chicago , IL - July 17th, 2007
The American Association for Justice (AAJ) Grassroots Department, in partnership with the National Association of Trial Lawyer Executives (NATLE), will conduct a workshop on coalition-building and victim organizations at the NATLE meetings. CCA Executive Director Patty Skolnik will be speaking at the workshop which is on July 17 at 4:00 PM and will be followed by a reception for NATLE given by AAJ Staff.

Patty Skolnik to Participate in Healthcare Reform Panel Discussion - June 21, 2007
Rep. Morgan Carroll is hosting an Aurora Town Hall meeting on June 21 at 7 pm.  The topic is Healthcare Reform. The meeting will be held at the Community College of Aurora ( 16000 Centretech Parkway in Aurora ) and will last about 2 hours.  CCA Executive Director Patty Skolnik will be part of the panel discussion.

Tuesday May 1st, 2007 at 7pm - CCA Comedy Fundraiser Event

Join us from 7-11pm at the Avenue Theatre.  There will be two great comedy shows from the award winning Denver improv comedy troupe “Plays Well With Others” as well as a quick set from our Director Travis Luther’s own band Ultra Find.  Tickets are $25 dollars and include the show, adult beverages, and hors d’oeuvres.  Seating is limited, with only 125 tickets that will be sold on a first come first serve basis. 

Thursday March 29th, 2007 at 7pm - CCA Client Member Event

Please join Stephanie Price, CCA Director of Membership, for our first ever Member Meet-Up! The event will be held at 950 S. Cherry St. Suite 600 Denver, CO 80246. Meet other CCA members, get a first look at the new CCA member programs, and find out how you can become a patient advocate. This is a casual and free event. February 19th, 2007 - Health Care Action Day at State Capitol
Join us from 8:30-12 noon as CCA participates in a coalition of groups mobilizing to demand quality, affordable and accessible health care in Colorado. We will meet at the Central Presbyterian Church, 1660 Sherman to talk about the days action, then proceed to the Capitol. February 1st, 2007 - CCA Testifying at Capitol Committee

    Patty presents at Grapevine Colorado Meeting 9am to noon. All Saints Lutheran Church 15625 East Iliff Aurora. The church is east of 225 one block past Chambers.
  • July 25th at 7pm - Thank you for joining with others throughout the nation on Patient Safety Day and observing a moment of silence to promote the safety and healing of patients and their families, in tribute to those
    who have suffered the ravages of medical mistakes.
